Peer Review Process
Jurnal Al-Adalah: Jurnal Hukum dan Politik Islam publishes articles that follow guidelines provided by Jurnal Al-Adalah. Submitted manuscripts are going through a double-blind peer-review process. In the first process, the manuscripts will be reviewed and screened by managing editors in order to meet the criteria set by Jurnal Al-Adalah. Then the Submitted papers are evaluated by at least two anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (blind-peer review). The results of the review will provide consideration to decide whether the manuscripts should be accepted, revised, or rejected. The aspects that will be assessed by the board of editors are the originality of the articles, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
Regarding the acceptance of the manuscripts, the following are decisions provided by Jurnal Al-Adalah:
- Accepted.
- Accepted with revision and the manuscript will not be checked by the reviewer again.
- Rejected.
For checking Plagiarism, the Editorial Board will screen plagiarism by using CrossCheck/iThenticate plagiarism detection tools. If it is found plagiarism indication (above 25 %), the editorial board will reject the manuscript immediately.
